Anywhoo, the person called out Sigilyph and Eelektross battling. I've always liked Sigilyph, and I'm glad I was forced into thinking of a concept for him- though I think in the future it will change. So he's a psychic/flying type. I find psychic/ghost/dark types to be a little tricky, as well as allow a lot of freedom, so I played up the bird in him. I also made hm look a little aged, as he supposedly guarded an ancient city at some time, though I think I will exaggerate that the next time I draw him. I'm sure whatever city this thing guarded has no problems whatsoever.
JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE
Eelektross was pretty simple, but his form was a lot of fun to draw.I really like a lot of the poké's in 5th generation, most of them have a lot of potential.
Personally I prefer the idea that Sigilyph doesn't have a face. It's a Psychic type, it probably perceives via psychics... how it feeds... it's a psychic type.
It's really good, but in my opinion you shouldn't have made Sygiliph with feathers and all...Sygiliph is based off a drawing of a bird not a bird itself
In real-world perspective, that'd mean that the real Sigilyph would've been more birdlike. I understand you mean the Pokemon itself is based on glyphs.
Think of it from real-world perspective. The Egyptians based their hieroglyphics on animals such as eagles. If you think about what Sigilyph would have looked like in those terms, it was probably more birdlike. Again, this is a real world perspective, not one based on the games or anime.
